This piece begins with the musicians scattered around the hall until they find each other on stage in the final movement.

Four (cleanse)

This piece is meant to be an escape, a relaxing place with a familiar four note ostinato and weaving melodies.

Three (sharing)

Movement 2 of a 4 part string quartet piece.

Played by the EAMA Resident String quartet at the EAMA Summer Music Institute.

This piece is the sharing of lines between musicians who take turns playing a three note ostinato that flourishes into a vast field of sound.
