Can’t seem to find my way

I've got homes all over this rock

but I can’t seem to find my way

Little beetle crawling

quickly find a leaf for cover

little critters scatter hastily

find your way back under

A piece of me stays stuck

under the floorboards of my old home

it’s ripped away and now I don't

feel whole

back and forth I find my pieces

leaving a trail behind

I've got homes all over this rock

but I can’t seem to find my way

Sweet fox scamper round

hunker down for winter

sweet squirrel climb up

find a tree to rest in
